This 10-day epic Tanzania adventure combines the thrill of mountain trekking with world-class wildlife safaris. The journey begins with a 4-day Mount Meru climb, Tanzania’s second-highest peak, offering excellent acclimatization, dramatic landscapes, and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After the trek, the adventure continues with a 6-day safari experience through Tanzania’s most iconic national parks. Guests explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its birdlife and tree-climbing lions; the vast plains of the Serengeti, home to the Big Cats; the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and Tarangire National Park, renowned for large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

DAY 1: ARUSHA – MOMELLA GATE – MIRIAKAMBA HUT (2,500M)

After breakfast, drive from your hotel to Ngongongare Gate for registration, then continue to Momella Gate.
Meet your professional mountain guide, porters, and armed ranger before starting the trek through forest and open grassland rich in wildlife.
Arrive at Miriakamba Hut (2,500m) for evening tea, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 2: MIRIAKAMBA HUT – SADDLE HUT (3,500M) – LITTLE MERU (3,800M)

After breakfast, trek to Saddle Hut (3,500m) for a hot lunch.
After a short rest, hike to Little Meru (3,800m) for acclimatization and stunning views.
Return to Saddle Hut for dinner and a summit briefing.

DAY 3: SUMMIT DAY – MOUNT MERU (4,800M) – MIRIAKAMBA HUT

Early morning ascent to Mount Meru Summit (4,800m), reaching the peak around sunrise with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Descend to Saddle Hut for lunch, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for overnight.

DAY 4: MIRIAKAMBA HUT – MOMELLA GATE – ARUSHA

After breakfast, descend to Momella Gate.
Celebrate your achievement and receive your Mount Meru climbing certificates.

DAY 5: ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at leisure, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Enjoy a game drive in this beautiful park famous for tree-climbing lions, elephants, and abundant birdlife along the lakeshore.

Overnight: Lodge / Camp near Lake Manyara

DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch to Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy a scenic drive and afternoon game drive upon arrival.

DAY 7: FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Full-day game drive in Central Serengeti (Seronera area), home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game.

DAY 8: SERENGETI – KARATU

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti.
Later, drive to Karatu through the Ngorongoro Highlands.

DAY 9: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR – KARATU

After breakfast, depart with packed lunch to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, spotting the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino.
In the evening, ascend the crater and return to Karatu.

DAY 10: KARATU – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA

After breakfast, drive with packed lunch to Tarangire National Park.
