  • Your two “permit-critical” anchors are: Gorilla trekking (Bwindi) + Serengeti/Ngorongoro camping. Bwindi camping base is clearly available via Bwindi Backpackers Lodge campsite , and Serengeti/Ngorongoro have well-known public camps (Seronera , Simba ).

  • Kigali is the only place in this plan where a “true campsite” is less standard—so you can opt for reliable budget base (Mamba Club)
